Graduate of the Tel Aviv University with a B.A. in Economics and Management, and an MBA from the university's Recanati Business School.
Rani joined IDE Technologies Ltd in 2007 as a Senior Management Advisor for special and BOT projects, and financing, bringing with him vast experience in water and energy projects in Israel and abroad. Rani is involved in all IDE's global activities with regard to all commercial and financial aspects of large and mega projects. He has taken a lead role in structuring IDE's commercial proposals, negotiations with partners, with off-takers and with financial institutions, in addition to advising IDE's top management on all related issues. Rani also serves as the CEO of VID, the concessioner of the desalination plant in Ashkelon, Israel, one of the largest seawater desalination plants in the world (120M m³ per annum)(IDE subsidiary company).
